Data deletion
Effective date: November 4, 2026
You can remove EmpAi Social Automation's access to your TikTok account and ask us to delete your data at any time. This page explains how.
1. Disconnect a TikTok account
- Sign in at https://social.empai.ai/app.
- Open the TikTok accounts page of your workspace.
- Choose Disconnect next to the account.
We immediately revoke our access using TikTok's token revocation endpoint and delete the stored access and refresh tokens and the account's TikTok profile data (display name, avatar and IDs). Scheduled posts for that account are cancelled.
You can also remove EmpAi Social Automation from the authorized apps list in your TikTok app's security settings. Our access then stops working and we delete the stored tokens once we detect the revocation.
2. Request deletion of all your data
Email armin@empai.ai with the subject "Data deletion request" from the email address of your EmpAi Social Automation account. Tell us whether you want to delete your personal user account or, if you are an administrator, your entire business workspace.
If you never had a EmpAi Social Automation account but believe we hold your data (for example, because a business connected a TikTok account you own), include your TikTok display name so we can locate it.
3. What we delete
- TikTok access and refresh tokens (revoked with TikTok first) and TikTok profile data.
- Uploaded and AI-generated media, captions, drafts, schedules and publishing records.
- Your user account and, for a workspace deletion, all users and data of that workspace.
We complete deletion within 30 days and confirm by email. Residual copies in backups are overwritten on a rolling basis. We may keep minimal records where required by law (for example, invoices), and a record that the deletion was carried out.
4. Posts already on TikTok
Deleting data in EmpAi Social Automation does not remove posts already published on TikTok or drafts already sent to your TikTok inbox. You can delete those in the TikTok app.
